There are dozens of people filing complaints with the BBB against LJ/6A. The BBB is a fucking CLUB for businesses. Businesses have to pay to join. They are NOT on the side of consumers. Sure people have gotten money back after filing complaints, but not when there was a legal team standing by.

I used to respond to regulatory complaints. I have responded to THOUSANDS of complaints filed with the FCC, BBB, PUC, PSC, and Offices of the Attorney General. A complaint from the BBB meant that the customer wasn't getting their money back. Why? Because the BBB posed no threat. Not giving the customer what they wanted doesn't mean that the company automatically gets a bad rating. All we had to do was prove that we were in the right. And that's all LJ/6A has to do and I bet with their legal team, they'll be able to do it. I had the same form letter for every customer and I bet they will, too.

Now it was different if I got a complaint from the FCC, PUC, PSC or ATY GEN. Why? If I got so many FCC complaints, they would get verrrry suspicious and launch an investigation, as would lets say the PSC of Vermont. They would request TONS of information. Maybe information on all of our Vermont customers. In other words, they have actual POWER. So when I got a complaint from one of those agencies legit or not? They pretty much got what they wanted - within reason. But is an investigation really a good idea? Hrm.

Lastly, I have to ask, for people expecting refunds. Why? Was your journal deleted? Are you afraid your journal is going to be deleted? Because there's an easy way around that. Don't get me wrong. I'm not happy about this crap; I have a permanent account, I can't just refuse to renew paid time. But I'm not asking for my money back. It's done. I want to be part of the group moving forward.
